Tonight fast paced podcast include a barrage of quick notes from Samsung releasing yet another mobile operating system upon the world, Google Chrome in both OS and internet web browser for the Mac being released in the next few weeks, Star Trek coming out on Blu-Ray and DVD this Tuesday the 17th as well as Twitter lists and ReTweets in the beta form.

Covering the initial hype of the Motorola Droid, we’ve come to find out that the fanfare was short lived.  Now with the Eris available on Verizon for $99, BGR reports that the HTC Hero on Sprint’s network is dropping at Best Buys near you for the same price.  Not yet capable of Android 2.0, we hear that HTC is still working on developing a version of their “Sense” UI (user-interface) that will be able to run on the latest from the Google Mobile Team.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is breaking video game sales all over the world.  With amazing new features in the multiplayer campaign, it makes it much easier to stay and fight the various online battles / missions / campaigns with those you love.  TV Shows making an honorable mention include “The Middle,” “Modern Family,” and to less fanfare, “V,” “Flash Forward,” and of course “Lost,” is said to be coming to an end.

Two of peak interest’s must haves on your iPhone include AppBox (18 apps in 1) and Byline for those interested in looking for the best possible solution to sync your Google Reader and offline use.  Both are currently on holiday special pricing as of this post on November 16th, so grab them while you can.  AppBox Pro / Byline

Giving you a quick take on my initial handle with the Canon S90, I’m truly impressed with the feature set and look forward to a more in depth review in the upcoming months.  Moving onto software, we bring up the usefullness of Instapaper as an offline website viewer available in a free-ad-sponsored application or a paid Pro application enabling up to 250 saved pages.  Another deliverer of files and digital media across multiple platforms are Orb (now available on Mac) as well as Vuze.  Orb has just released Orb 2.0 for the iPhone costing $9.99 allowing to stream directly to your Apple device.  Check it out.

Under movies, MJs This Is It! has grossed around $103,906,132 worldwide and is being pirated more than any other movie EVER!  Of course, we have to mention Paranormal Activity which is still going strong raking in $84,627,372.  Channing went to go watch Law Abiding Citizen – Saw it – liked it – but apprently the theater that he was watching it at had a messed up center channel

The midweek podcast brings to you the latest on the Verizon Wireless Announcement on the November 6th release of the Motorola Droid (BGRs Preview) running Google’s Android 2.0 platform.  Concurrent to that announcement, Google had made public their intentions of bringing a FREE GPS Navigation software package available on Android 2.0 along with docking features, and voice capability.  Without delay, both TomTom and Garmin stock reflected a fire sale resulting up to 20% loss.

Elijah was able to add just a little bit of commentary on the pilots overshooting their airport destination incident talking about the specifics of autopilot usage as well as how boring it really can get up there.  (via AvWeb)

Another quick week goes by as Channing Work and Elijah Nicolas cover the explosion in tech.  Taking up most of the podcast, we discuss the new Apple iMac 27″ along with the Intel Quad Core Processors it uses, the Magic Mouse Experience, an the updated Bluetooth Keyboard, the new Mac Mini Server and the updated “low-end” White Macbook.  Jumping right into Microsoft’s new Windows 7 and the new brick and mortar store followed by two quick iPhone application mentions (RockBand (opens iTunes link) and Layar), we try to wrap it up and keep the podcast under or around the usual 30 minutes.

Of course, a lot of the time was also spent talking about the brand new Barnes and Nobles’ eReader dubbed “nook” and how it’s setting itself up to be on top.  Also in gaming, we chatted a little about Uncharted 2 available exclusively on the Sony Playstation 3.

Our 9th episode is a special piece where Channing (@chanwork) and Elijah (@eejay) actually met halfway between their houses at a Starbucks in San Diego and recorded live.  Granted the background music might prove as a subtle distraction but this was definitely a crowning moment in our short history.
